Here is the budget bronco Buildup page- 

I am going to highlight each step of the buildup as is progresses. I am building the truck in about 4 stages, in order of necessity. As it was purchased, there wasn't really anything on the bronco that was exactly the way I wanted it.

Intro-   

    Here I describe the basic bronco as I bought it. 

Stage 1 - Body  

    I am replacing a front fender, removing the old flares and adding new ones, adding new Iron Horse Bumpers , removing the chrome and tire rack, and painting it.

Stage 2 - Suspension / Lift

    I am adding a custom 3.5" suspension lift, 3" body lift, and some trick custom suspension parts to make it really flex.

Stage 3 - Motor

    The Stock 302 just doesn't have much life left in it, so it is ditched in favor of a modified 351.

Stage 4 - Axles

    Solid axles and locked differentials are mandatory for a good off road vehicle.
